Gin & Tonic

Gin and Tonics were known to be consumed in the early days for medicinal reasons. Specifically, it was consumed, with gin being the mixer and tonic being the base, as a way to ward off malaria, given the medicinal nature of quinine.

Classic Recipe

Ingredients


Glassware: Highball 

Garnish: Grapefruit / Orange peel 

Ice: Small ice cubes 

Method: Build


Serve

  1. Pour all ingredients into an ice-filled highball glass and mix.

  2. Garnish and serve.


If you’re trying other gins with this recipe, use (I) lime and basil leaf for our N.I.P EXOTIC CITY GIN; (II) grapefruit twist for our CATNIP TEA GIN NO. 1 PHOENIX ORCHID and (III) orange twist for our CATNIP TEA GIN NO. 2 DA HONG PAO .


*We recommend Q Tonic / Fever Tree Indian Tonic / Mezzanine Maker Local Herbal Tonic. Mix half and half soda water and tonic if you like it more dry.
